I now use xcode compile openvpn source, the process depends on many libraries, the process is more complicated. Very little relevant information online, has been engaged for several days, but has been a mistake, want to have compiled a friend wing! ! !

openvpn source code is a compiled executable file, so you need an entity ipad (iphone should be able to). ipad on mac connection can be compiled in xcode, ipad device you want to select an entity detected. The library is very dependent on windows almost added to your project inside.
