How my program and system sounds do not sound the same?

After the program in the background, use the side volume keys to adjust the sound volume, the program pushed into the foreground, press the side volume keys, and not the same as actually set before! Procedure is to use the AVAudioPlayer play sounds, how will the system is not the same with it?
